So here's the deal, guys! It's a little late, so apologies (August turned out to be way busier and hectic than I'd originally anticipated.), but here's the recruitment information for the Welcome Center and the upcoming fundraisers.

UPDATE: The Cherrygrove City fundraiser will be Saturday, September 28th!

To make sure people in both regions can participate if they wish there will be two fundraisers. The first will be held in Johto at Cherrygrove City with a date to be announced once I talk to the mods. The second fundraiser will follow 2-2.5 weeks after the Johto fundraiser in Kanto at Viridian City. Both locations where the boarding houses will be built. Characters are more than welcome to attend either or both. Sign up's aren't region specific since dates still need to be worked out, but otherwise we're ready to go!

Yo it’s Dawn, time for the Hidden machine’s first mass mission. A mass mission simply means that all HMs have been given an information gathering mission. This spans across both regions, sort of a repeat of the first information raid we ever had in Route. Here’s what different though, your character will be reward with more the just new information.

Rewards they can get:

Money (Yes they can be paid for this.)
Health items
Minor holding items
Berries
Everyday supplies
Follow up leads

Rules:

Have a character make an HM post to the network about the facts they’ve found.
This can be anywhere from now until August 31.
After that deadline your character will have to wait until the next mass mission to get the special rewards.
No worries, you can opt in or opt out of this mission anytime you want.
Just send in which facts you're picking in the comments

Hello Route fellows, it’s your friendly neighborhood Dawn~
Hopefully, some of you remember that player plot I had at the beginning of the year. For those who don’t know, it was about characters stealing various bits of information from the professors to learn more about the pokémon world. The event turned out pretty well and some people were interested in another one. I’ve been thinking of a few ways to improve it and this is what I came up with. (Still 100% mod approved)

Instead just having one big raid every so often with a few characters, why not create a little espionage network and you guys get to pick when your characters want to get things done.

I even thought of a fun name for this group, HIDDEN MACHINES.

Hey guys! So first of all I'm officially back from Hiatus (I have been for about a week or so now, tagging out), so hi again!

Second, I've got a big player plot... business proposition.... thing for you guys!

So you might or might not have heard about it by now, but with mod approval Katara has been working on plans for a Welcome Center for the last few months. It's a volunteer based, non-profit endeavor and it's going to need a lot of helping hands! I'd like to use this post to gauge player interest in becoming involved (give me an idea how many people will help or just attend), as well as to field some initial questions and suggestions. A second OOC post (with official sign-up's) will follow this one in a couple weeks once I have some things finalized/ironed out.

For players and their characters there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved after the fundraiser, too. Trainers and breeders will be welcomed to suggest player events for fundraisers if they want to, and the WC will do its part to make it happen (subject to mod approval, of course). There are a lot of ideas in the works but for now I think I've talked your ears off enough.
