Right, so as some of you might know I am frantically packing up my apartment in preparation for moving. On my own. In a van. From Michigan to New Jersey which is about 650 miles.

Needless to say I am not focusing on tags very well right now. I'm leaving on Monday and should be able to hop right online once I'm there, but I'm giving myself until the 5th to come off of hiatus while I attempt not to scream at the ocean I'm going to be living right next to because you are not one of the Great Lakes why am I near you.

This affects Tobias, Naoya, and Micchy - I'll get back to fourth wall tags once I'm settled in if anyone wants to backtag with me!

HI THERE ROUTE. Name's Possum and I'm coming at you here with Peridot from that cartoon about the space rocks that's all the rage right now. In case you are unfamiliar with her, in essence Peridot is small, nasally, foul mouthed, impatient, poorly socialized, and has a severe case of 'bewildered alien' going on.

...No really. Like. "Used to not know what a towel is" level of bewildered alien.

Yeah.

Just for funsies, here is a very important video of her voice in case you haven't heard it before, so you have some context to what your poor character will be hearing when she inevitably starts screaming gem obscenities at people on the network.

ANYWHO. She was *only just* starting to understand Earth at the canon point that I've taken her from, so switching things up by throwing her into the Pokemon world and forcing her from a body that's a malleable projection of hard light into an organic human body should be a real hoot. I've apped her in as a Rocket Grunt, so I'll be putting up a log closed to other members probably some time tonight or tomorrow to help get the ball rolling, and then hopefully I can get her out and interacting with the non-Rockets soon too!

I actually put up the post on the hiatus page a couple days ago, but I wanted to say here that I'm taking a hiatus due to general health and holiday reasons, till about December 4th or 5th.

Luke is going on autopilot for it, hitting up the Johto gyms he's neglected to get the badges for for the past...several months. He'll be around in that area or at his apartment in Goldenrod if anyone wants to assume anything.

So this has been a long time coming, but Maka's going down for a little canon update nap as of yesterday. When she wakes up next Friday, her memories will have changed to the end of Soul Eater's manga version.

I don't even have to say it, but it's weird. Sunny already had to endure it and I won't inflict in on y'all.

Please don't draw on her face while she's asleep, she already went through that with Black*Star.

Quarter is ending soon and it's rougher than anticipated. I need a break, and as many of you have noticed, my tagging speed has been abysmal.

Tarma here just dropping by to say that I've had some stuff come up kind of suddenly. You might have noticed I've been scarce. The holiday creeping up and my family situation are gonna get kinda wonky so I'm going to be taking a couple weeks of downtime for the sake of making sure no one has a meltdown.

Heyo again! This is Asher, the guy who just brought in Agent York from Red vs. Blue, with my main motormouth memelord trash nerd, Dave Strider from Homestuck. For those who don't know him, Dave is basically what you'd get if you shoved every meme from 1995 to now into a teenage body, added time manipulation powers, and told this hideous amalgamation of nonsense it had to play an epic computer game to save itself and its friends from utter annihilation. Also, rap gets involved somewhere along the line. Also, horrendous hero problems.

So, a couple things! 1) I'm aware there have been something like five Daves here at Route before me. I'm happy to reconnect with any old CR of his, though obviously he's not going to remember. Probably not a good idea to transfer previous Daves' Pokémon to him, either, since he's starting over at level five with his Ralts. And 2) if you would prefer not to receive text tags from Dave in this colored font and aggressively punctuationless typing style, let me know here on his permissions page and I'll happily oblige.

Hello, friends! My name is Kururu, I've played here before, and I'm back now. And I dragged back Oerba Dia Vanille, from Final Fantasy XIII! Cute cheerful girl who is actually very sad. She's got her memories, and she's from her old canon point of just at the end of Chapter 8 of the original game.

Hi everyone! This is Phasma, rejoining Route with Penny from that Rooster Teeth series about color-coded fairy-tale girls with giant weapons, RWBY. For the canon-blind, Penny is a highly advanced military robot who is very proud of her capabilities, but mostly just wants to make friends and be treated like a real girl. (There are, in fact, strings on her, but they don't hold her down.) She's mostly got textbook knowledge of humanity at best, so being in Route will involve a fairly sharp learning curve to say the least. It's also worth noting that she has a pretty terrible poker face - Pinocchio had his nose, Penny gets the hiccups.

She's coming in as a trainer, with a Joltik for her partner. ~~I will say that the temptation to start her with a Kricketot named Jiminy was very real.~~

tl;dr - cinnamon bun robot girl capable of taking out a small battalion gets her wish to be a real girl, with bonus electro-spider.

Looking forward to playing with you all again!

Sorry y'all. I've had a rough time making activity checks since starting, and I've finally failed my last one. So, for now, Madoka has to go.

anexcitableboy gets to Violet, he'll find four of her 'mons being sad in her room in the Center, while

bylight will get her Espurr, Amy, sent to her via PC. There should be a cut under this with her Pokemons' stats but it might not work, sorry if this is needlessly long.

I felt hopping in here to drop a quick line for anyone who doesn't have me on plurk or tumblr:

My mother passed away on Saturday (with my grandfather passing the night before). I have her funeral this Saturday to do and I've been running around like a bat out of Hell trying to get things sorted out. My brother is only back in town until Wednesday of next week and we have several affairs that need to be settled for my mom before he goes back home and I go back to work on Tuesday.

So for the next few days-- LIKE IT KINDA HAS BEEN ALL WEEK --I'm not really going to be around except for short bursts. I have a few tags that I will get to tomorrow when I'm done gutting my mom's apartment, so I wanna let you know that they'll get done.

If you need me, you can send me a private plurk. It's the fastest way to ask me things.

But yeah so I'm not calling it a slowatus as much as I'm calling it a WAIT I'M ALMOST DONE WITH THIS DON'T THINK I'M DEAD-atus.
