Hey everyone! My name's Lauren and I'm bringing you a stuffy reaper named William T. Spears from the manga/anime Kuroshitsuji. He's coming in as a trainer with a little Pidove named Mercury.

This is my first time in a journal based community in like FOREVER so forgive me if I'm a ditz at first. Other than that, it's great to be here with you all and I can't wait to throw William into his first Pokémon battle!

UGH I KNOW THAT FEELING ALL TOO WELL. Honestly, Levi's the first character I've gotten into in a long time, and I had no idea how to handle all the merchandise because I'm so used to my faves being less popular... so he became a money sink very very fast because I felt like I had just turned fourteen again. Went to cons in our city and dropped all this money embarrassingly... sighs and covers face

I have the bad habit of my favorite characters always being side ones, so whatever I can find, I must snatch up!

Yup, it's about him graduating to a full fledged reaper. So you get to see young William. I might have to go watch it now...

I had been into Hetalia for a while (i'm not sure if i should apologize for that in shame or.. cries) and yeaaaah that was the place where I had to snatch up the most character merch :D

Annnd this sounds adorable and I am intrigued. I know very little about Kuro but my gf looked over and was like "he's a reaper like grell so those things" and I just nodded sagely like I knew what I was talking about but I am legit excited because ugh the megane is all I need to get sucked in...

I've only seen/read a bit of Hetalia, mainly cause the characters in game were fairly interesting enough to get me to take a peek.

Oh gosh don't compare him to Grell to his face, he might literally punch you.

And the icon with the green pigeon is actually canon, the other is fanart. But he does make use of a carrier pigeon in canon, so of course, as fans, we must assume he just loves pigeons. Though, since they are working hard for him, he probably does respect them a lot.

Also, random. Just noticed your location on plurk... we're like and hour from each other. We just might end up fighting over the megane merch at an upcoming con.

NewCon I hadn't heard of I literally just moved out here like three months ago. But we are registered for Sakuracon, so if you guys are going to that one?

WHOA three months! Well, welcome to Oregon!! Hopefully you are enjoying it here, barring the weather that's been giving me nothing short of hell (you start to think you don't notice it but then it's like 'lol the sun went down at 4pm and now it's pitch black and if u thought u missed sunlight it's also raining ur welcome'. shrieks!!)

Mayhaps one day we should get together and eat delicious food and it will be amazing~

NewCon is pretty small, I think they're only in their 3rd year now; we haven't gone before, but we've been itching to wear our AoT cosplays so we're like "shit. shit we'll GO TO THIS ONE!!" But Portland is definitely not at a lack of conventions so both fortunately and unfortunately I get a lot of sweet geek exposure on a yearly basis but also a lot of convenient locations at which to spend copious amounts of money... x_x

I WISH. I WERE GOING. TO SAKURACON. Ugh, don't even get me started... as I start myself.. We used to live in the Seattle area but recently moved back to Portland a few years ago; we used to go to Sakuracon regularly, but we also went to EmeraldCityComicCon regularly too... since they're back-to-back weekends it was totally doable when we lived up there, but now we can't. ;_; So we're registered for ECCC this year instead of SakuraCon (my distress here is because I recently got back into anime and, pls forgive me for being trash, I experimented with the AoT dub and found it remarkably to my liking and the dub voice actor who does Levi is this hilariously fantastic and adorable gentleman who is going to be at this Sakuracon so it's breaking my heart that we've got reg for one and not the other :|.....)

buuut that said we're probably going to maaaybe try to go anyway, at least for a day, so that i can creepystalk this gorgeous voice actor gentleman. AND IF WE DO, I will definitely have to say hello!!

(AND HELL YEAH PLEASURE INDEED bc such megane and jeez that pigeon is cute and also mr. spears here seems super classy and hits like all of my bishounen requirements ugh.. so pretty...)

The weather doesn't really bother me, though I do fit it odd how it's ALWAYS cloudy here. I'm an east coast girl, came over from Long Island, NY and there it's like nice for two weeks, then a few days of rain, then nice again. Here it's like the exact opposite. I'm a hermit tho, so it doesn't phase me too much.

We could totally hang some time~! I'd be down for that. We'd need to plan it out a bit tho cause I don't drive and would have to get my husband to drive me.

If you do end up going to Sakuracon lemme know and we'll meet up. And you can see my terrible young!William cosplay or maybe my Bandou from [K] one (who I'm probably apping here next.) NO PRESSURE THO EXCEPT I MEAN YES ALL THE PRESSURE

AND YESSSS THAT WILL BE BEAUTIFUL I would be very excited to see your cosplays!! I actually just recently watched [K] because a friend was like "hey that dub voice actor u like for some reason is in the dub so u should watch it" and welp they had me there..... it was v good :O

AND AW YEAH so am I omg I bet they will get along even thru Levi's assholery
