Hello, Route. It's Katar, player of John Egbert (ghostytrainer) with my second character: Faize Sheifa Beleth from the game Star Ocean: The Last Hope! If you haven't heard of it before, don't worry I'm not surprised; if you have heard of it, hello you are my new best friend.

To give a little background, Faize here is an alien from a planet called Eldar and he's probably one of (if not the only) alien that you won't hear complaining about the forced humanization thing because...well, nothing changed. Eldarians are basically just Earthlings with pointy ears. Not that he won't have plenty of other things to complain about though! Someone as overly logical as his poor boy isn't going to to take too well to a place like this where lots of things are just explained as "well that's just the way things are." He also kind of sucks at socializing and adequately expressing his emotions. I could say more, but I won't and if you want to know more you can always check out his app, though it's riddled with massive plot twist spoilers. Aaaand add info if you don't want to do the hover thing:

HELLO NEW BEST FRIEND. Ahaha yeah, I know, right? There were a couple of d_m posts for Faize and I think there used to be one in a game back on LJ at one point but that's like...it. But I'm excited to have him here, I replayed the game back in like March on a whim and he's been nagging me ever since so I finally caved and did something with him.

it's been years since i played the game! the last time i played it was like... back when it came out.. but faize was one of my favourite characters from it, tbh. i also really liked arumat too!!

DON'T BE SORRY I AN JUST AS EXCITED THAT SOMEBODY ELSE HAS ACTUALLY PLAYED THIS GAME. Two of my Homestuck castmates are the only others I know who have and one of them has been a great sport for the past like...month...ish...and has listened to me babble about this doofus.

Faize was one of my favorites too though so you are not alone in that regard. uwu
