Hi, everybody! I'm Mozart, and I bring you +1 courageous little Meister named Maka Albarn from an abomination of a series that's the lovechild of an HP Lovecraft fanboy that listens to too much music.

We mostly call it "Soul Eater."

Anyway, she's coming here fresh from the most recent chapter, so yeah for anyone that knows, some shit sure went down.

Also also, I was actually here about a year or two ago with her as well, but she's coming in fresh so she won't remember anything if...uh, anybody remembers her. She's got herself an Emolga because why not have a cute flying rat along with you?

Spoilers: Black*Star doesn't get less annoying ahahaha sorry I love the guy in the anime at least but in the manga he's kind of gone insufferably super awesome powerful

Aaaanyway, Maka would probably be inclined to stick to Johto unless something reeeeally compelled her to head over to Kanto, but as it is she's all by her lonesome so yeah

Yeah; anime-wise, I'm up to ep. 9 but need to actually see it. Mangawise, I need to actually buy vol. 1. XD

At least he still has Tsubaki so he finally lives up to his press?

Ohman I need to warn you about the art in the early volumes whenever you get around to that! It's pretty terrible and technically SE is classed as an ecchi series on scanlation websites.

So yeah. Watch out for underage ass in the face. Also for god knows why YenPress has decided to keep the Japanese honorifics in a series where all the characters are American but that's just my own nitpicks.

But yes Black*Star does in fact surpass God. If by God, we mean Kid, who's a shrimp god anyway so whuuutever

Wow - seriously? Most of the manga I've picked up over the years shows that but the art's better.

Yeah the art does get better, like, it's really rough in the three intro chapters because they were one shots before SE was picked up as a series, it improves fairly quickly after that. And it's funny to see in retrospect.

Yeeeeah...Deathjesus is a pretty lame god to have surpassed, I'm not even gonna lie.

Oh and he quits the pantyshots with Maka fairly quickly at least. I'll take my good points where I can get them in my shonen of choice.

That's great! I'll see about picking it up asap even if the art doesn't speak for itself until post-intro chapters 1-3.

The only cool things he has going for him are his partners, in my opinion. But yes, definitely.

Maka actually gets pantyshots? Unbelievable.

Hahahaha yeah don't even get me started on how irritating it is that Maka is continually ridiculed for having a less than perfect body or amount of sex appeal in canon, yet is used for fanservice more so than any other character by Ohkubo.
