Hey again, Route! If the icon and username didn't give away who this is or you've never seen either and therefore don't have a clue this is and are horribly confused and wondering what in the world this crazy person is talking about, the name's Kana and I am back as A) I apparently really suck at quitting this game for any lengthy amount of time and B) Route has some pretty skilled enablers who regularly contribute(d) to point A. You know who you are.

Now, I was planning on bringing Adelle the Cat of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimoire of the Rift to the game first, but enablers, RNG, and the muse won out despite the fact that I'd have been able to use a pretty witty subject title in my OOC intro, so! I'm bringing Valeria, AKA Knife (Female), of Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII back to the game; though, that 'back' is relative as she's coming in canon fresh with no memories of her previous trips to Johto. Spoilers: You'll get Adelle later.

Uh, what to say about Val? She's a Turk and a pretty cheerfulesque one at that or... something! She's a pretty complex character, really, and I'm hoping to bring more of that out this run. I'd tell you more, but this intro is tl;dr enough without me trying to condense Val for you and I'd rather challenge you to play with and, or follow us and find out for yourselves because, really, it's more fun that way. Moving onto her canon point -- for the BC literate, she's from a few days prior to Episode Eleven. For the BC illiterate but VII literate otherwise, she's from before OG -- before Sephiroth loses it and torches Nibelheim, etc. She's coming to Johto as a trainer with a Scyther for which I currently lack a name. Oh, and she's cute? Love her. Idek.

Semester's coming to an end

So Fukuro here has been laying off her work until the last second and since the semester's coming to an end this month, I think it'll be a good idea to go on a little hiatus/slowiatus until everything is pretty much smooth sailing.

I'll still be around to tag a few threads or something but my time here will be limited due to my laptop charger spazzing out on me last night and my only source of internet is at school here.

The latest I'll be back is the 25th when finals are over and my laptop has a source of power. Have fun without me!

Well, guys... somehow I just couldn't resist rounding off our set of Rikus here in Route. So I've brought back Data-Riku from Kingdom Hearts: ReCoded, otherwise known as the game of much suffering. Hated those trophies, man.

Data-Riku here remembers his previous stint in Johto, and has at least a few ideas of what he's supposed to do with a human body, but largely? He's really under-educated. Terrible self-worth and a Riku-face, what can go wrong?

This is Masato from Uta no Prince-sama, Musical Boybands 1000%!!! He's a quiet, sensitive young man who is currently heir to his father's company but really he just wants to sing and play piano and eat melon bread all day. And he's starting as a Rocket because I am a horrible human being and he can antagonize Ren Jinguji while he's at it. In shoujo terms, he's the dark, silent type with the uguu smiles.

Back from hiatus

...Sort of, I still have Pokémon rosters to update, and other things to do... But since I'm going to be around here anyway, I might as well post this now! So, Winry, Mitsuki and Utau are back in action.

Let's talk about Christmas, because my last weeks of year 2012 were full of social life with my family and I was too busy to be on the Internet. This was Winry's first Christmas ever, because holidays don't happen in FMA, so she was pretty excited to get something for everyone who has CR with her. I suck at thinking about presents, but she is actually good at things like this... What do? Assume you got something useful, handmade or anything that reminded her of you. Same with Mitsuki, though this wasn't her first ever, she was still pretty excited and yes, you got something if you have CR with her. The third girl wasn't excited and no one got anything from her except maybe Amu and Ren if I'm very nice and force her into it.

Hello, Route! More returning players here - Fetchie and Spear, who’ve brought in a variety of characters over the past year or so. Today we’re introducing a couple of Rocket grunts, Scanty and Kneesocks from the equally-lingerie-themed Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Gainax’s response to late-night American TV. (Think bright colors, bawdy plotlines, and as much Engrish profanity as they could stuff in 20 minutes since that didn’t trip the censors.)

Scanty and Kneesocks are a pair of demon sisters who, in contrast to their canon, believe strongly in proper behavior, self-discipline, and above all rules. These girls love rules, man. Getting the Rocket handbook will be like Christmas all over again. (Whether or not demons celebrate Christmas. It doesn’t matter. THIS WILL BE BETTER.)

They’re also kind of full of themselves and passive-aggressively snark at everybody in an extremely girly fashion - and are consistently made of fail when it comes to evil plots - so yeah, everyone have fun with that.

IC intro to come later in the week - in a spot of epic timing, one of us restarted school this week and the other’s visiting her family. Regardless, expect to see them make an appearance and in the meantime:

Radio Tower Raid

So, after several weeks and several communication gaffes, I'm proud to present to all of you Lightning's Plan: Start Actually Fighting.

Now, what this is is a raid on the Goldenrod Radio Tower. Not a takeover, but still something that will say to TR, for sure, that there's some group out there prepared to mess up their plans if they get any chance. And since information was obtained during the last 4th wall that gives a real hint that TR still holds the Tower, Lightning's been planning to try and take it back. Of course, that's changed given some conversations with other characters, but the idea is still the same. Now, lets get down to brass tacks!

The Plan:

Someone, or perhaps multiple someones, will fly up to the tower roof with a Charizard/something capable of Smokescreen and fill the ventilation system with smoke. (Yes, like in those crazy spy movies/shows) Once that's done and forced most of the people inside the tower out, everyone else waiting to go in will, while in disguise so there are no identifying traits, pile into the tower and clear out everyone else by splitting into teams and using Thunder Wave to keep whoever stayed behind out of the way for a time while they look for intel. Soon afterwards, they pile back out and scatter to the four corners of the city to avoid being found out. This is, of course, subject to some changes if anyone has any ideas they'd like to bring to the table! I'm open for discussion.

However, there are a few things that you should know, first:

Things that aren't changing:

What kind of information they'll find. As this is an outpost, there's very little vital information. There'll be notes along the lines of "we're looking for X amount of Gyarados for this month", but since they could either fish for them, raise Magikarps, or steal from trainers, there'll be no real idea where to look for Rocket members or where to avoid going if a character won't want to deal with them.

There won't be a broadcast declaring the tower to be Rocket territory or otherwise...not an "official" one, anyway. Perhaps next time, because this is really just a "show of power". They'll be at the Tower again at some point, I assure you. This is just to prove that the data Ven and co recovered from the 4th Wall Raid is legit and not something Johto made up.

Things that are up for change:

Who runs into who. While the majority of the "event" is locked to PGC and Rocket members, I never specified who. :3 Goldenrod's a major town, so who knows who's there at any given time? Heck, this could affect unaffiliated trainers outside the Tower, too! I mean, if you've got something that big leaking smoke and NPCs on the street, it's going to attract attention. Consider it a CR opportunity!

And that's about it. Now, this'll be taking place on Monday, January 14th, with the IC Planning Meeting taking place on Saturday, January 12th with an IC but handwaved message saying "Get to Goldenrod by Saturday" sent Tonight, January 7th to all members of the Corps. If your character would attend/take part but you can't be around to tag, for whatever the reason, just let me know and we can work something out.

Since Awesome Games Done Quick (it's a speedrun charity thing which is awesome) is happening right this second and I'm going to be watching pretty much all of it, thus not being on my PC, I'm taking a hiatus for it, along with stuff I'm doing after that is done IRL and trying to stop this PC from getting so hot in the middle of the day.
