If there can dance studios why not a fighting studio
Hey folks, long time on see this is Dawn, your mistress of madness. Here with a bit of an announcement. There is another thing that going to be opening up in Goldenrod, courtesy of a certain killer brat, a fighting studio. It was going to be a club but we all know the first rule about fight club.
How it began
Since Killua gets bored pretty easily with not that many things to starve boredom off. The brat decided to create a special place where interesting people can come and beat the living heck out of each other. That will hopefully keep his mind of doing unpleasant activities.
Ever since he’s gotten back in Goldenrod, he’s been working to find the perfect place and getting a bit of permissions for a few things. The studio will at an abandoned warehouse and is slowly be renovated. With the lower floors for the studio and the upper floors are used as an apartment complex. So if characters want to place to crash or get a room to stay in while in the city. Using the studio is free, unless a character decides to live in the apartments in the upper floors. It will be about 500P a week. There is no actually limit on age for anyone to get into and use the studio. Since Killua is like 13 it would be odd for him to make age restrictions. However there is a warning if you’re going to be there you might get hurt.
Thanks to special permission from the mods. The studio gets to have the one of the rules as Routes fighting tournament from last year. Weapons are allowed, though nothing really lethal (Anything that is found in the official rules of Route, for a more detailed example. If something isn’t allowed there, then it won’t be allowed in the studio).Things like: wooden staffs and wooden swords, paint ball guns, slingshots, yo-yo, etc. Things you can find in Johto. Just so you know your characters are labial if they take any weapon off the grounds Kil doesn’t get a crap if you get arrested.
Things that will be happening at the studio
Fighting/Sparring
This is pretty much the main thing going on want characters can fight to their hearts content here or sparring with someone so they won’t get rusty.
Training/Practice
There are places for characters to hone their skill by themselves without having living targets. Certain equipment can be used to hone speed, strength, precision and more. The only rule about is if a character breaks something they’re paying for it. This can be with money or if they’re broke Kil can think up some fun things to make up for it.
Games
With Killua upbringing anything he reviews at as a fun game can be considered hazardous to someone health more times than not. One example of a game that will be played is Assassin tag, players will be fighting each other while their pokémon will be trying to tag with their attacks. Fun times 8D
Classes/Workshops/Demos
Anything taught at the studio is going to be about fighting anyway shape or form. That means characters can start up class on various things. Here a few ideas on what sort of things characters can teach or be taught. A character doesn’t need to be at the studio to participate in the courses since they’ll all be broadcast over the network.
Weapon specialty/wielding, a character can teach how to wield swords, lances or even an umbrella. There can be more than one class on a type of weapon. Since you can’t wield a board sword like you would a rapier.
Weapon creation, these kinds of classes will be teaching the fine art on how to make a particular kind of weapon using what you can find in pokémon land. Or give a lecture on how to make a weapon that you normally wouldn’t have the materials on like if someone knew how to make a giant death bot, they have a class teaching others how to make a giant death bot. It’s not like anything horrible can come from it. And just a reminder, if a character uses weapons outside of the studio grounds, the studio isn’t held labial for it. ;D
Basic first aid because sometimes you’re just to far away from the pokémon center.
