hi guys! shannon here, and i'm...here, returning to the game! haha.

so this time, i'm bringing in zidane, as i did before. i don't know how many of you remember me, but the zidane with the journal name as "monkeyflirt" on lj? yeah, that was me - and i'm baaack.

so. zidane. he's a sweet and outgoing dude that has a little tendency to flirt. just slightly. he's from final fantasy ix as well as coming in with dissidia memories!

Same here. Actually, the very first time I played Zidane I had a Blank too and geez I wish more people picked him up. Such great characters in IX, they have awesome dynamics.

I might've played against a Blank ONCE on dear_mun, but I'm not sure...

We need more everything, half-wish Dissidia had included more IX. The game seemed to raise some awareness of older titles and I liked that.

I knowww, I was hoping for it...but nope. Oh well. Yeah, I liked that too! Honestly, from VI and back I don't know much about the other games, so Dissidia helped me a lot with the awareness too.

Same here! I mean, I played the remake of III, but Onion Knight's pretty darn cute. It's interesting that he's his own guy rather than any of the main four from the game.

IX was actually my first FF game, so anything before VII with the exception of III was pretty new territory for me.

i think VII was actually my first FF game but i ended up ragequitting at one point or another. i...tend to do that with FF games - i did that with VII, X, III, and XII. LOL. the only one i haven't done that with is IX.

Devouts have such cute outfits. Actually, I'm pretty sure I have art of Zidane with that hood, though I figure it's the "cat-ear hood" from Dissidia.

A friend got me IX the year I got a PS2, for which I could blame Kingdom Hearts entirely. Only had Nintendo consoles up till then. In my case if I get ticked off I just get more determined to curbstomp whatever got in my way, but I got pretty darn bored with VIII. By the time I got ultimate weapons and everything I thought to myself, "Wow my interest is spent." IX is definitely my forever favorite. X was my runner-up but I love XIII so it stole that spot.

yeah, whenever i get mad i ragequit for an extended period of time. and...well, when it comes to FF games it usually means i don't get anywhere with them. IX is - obviously - my favorite. i haven't been able to play XIII yet though, since i don't have a PS2. saaad day.

My Dissidia folder's largely Zidane, since much like his game, he's my favorite FF protagonist. One of the few reasons I'll ever visit 4chan, Zidane raids.

I've had a few where I just plain stopped for ages, and then gone back into it and Godzilla smashed everything...with varying degrees of smash. Scenario 000 was like that for me in Duodecim, then The Third Birthday and Odin Sphere. Have gone through the first two, working on the last. Do you mean PS3? They are darn expensive, I did quite a bit of work to save up for mine.

...OH. RIGHT. yeah, PS3. this is what i get for not rereading myself at a late night. |D but yeah, they're expensive. i think if i weren't cosplaying i probably would have one by now but...oh well.

No worries, I got what you meant. And oh geez, cosplay seems like such an expensive hobby. What characters do you cosplay?

um...currently i already have hikaru from ouran high school host club, oz from pandora hearts, kid!Sora from birth by sleep, and...yeah, i think that's it. i'm working on ciel from kuroshitsuji right now and slowly (but surely) gathering stuff here and there for zidane. :D

Wish we got to see more of them. That, and their interactions with the 012-exclusive characters. Zidane hitting on those ladies would've been so amusing. Imagine the look Lightning gave him. I always picture something like B|

Oh wow, that's a pretty interesting variety you've got going. Do you make costumes yourself?

yesss that would've been so cool. ;;; LOL YES i'm sure it was!

yeah, i make the costumes myself. even though it irritates me so much to make the costumes sometimes, it pays off in the end.

We'll just have to imagine it. At least we know enough that some 013 characters call Lightning Light, for example, which shows some measure of closeness. Only her boon companions got to call her that in XIII.

That's pretty cool. Gotta be satisfying when things turn out nice after all the work you put in.

Same here. Aside from issues with coding, it's been a fairly easy transition.
