Hello there everyone! With spring hitting Johto and villains causing a destructive ruckus, I came up with an idea for some fun CR and good times.

As you may or may not know, the Kimono Girls in Ecruteak were recently attacked and their theater damaged. The Girls are greatly loved (at least IMO - they were a beautiful part of the games for me) so naturally a lot of people want to help them out. So I thought, if you guys might like the idea, that Minnie and friends would hold a fundraiser for the Kimono Girls and their theater, to help get them money for the repairs, medical supplies, etc and to show the girls (and all of our Pokeworld) moral support.

Since it's for a theater, the idea would be to host a small play that would be held in Ecruteak and broadcasted over the PokeGears. Since it's Minnie, the play would most likely be a classic fairy tale (or at least a Poke-version of one) and viewers would be encouraged to donate money to the Kimono Girls.

Now it's your turn for the input. First off, what you think about the idea in general. Then, if you like it, your opinion on the following -

• Date - I'm thinking April 10th or 15th, to give people plenty of time to decide/plot/etc.
• The Play - What fairytale would you like to see performed? I'm thinking either Cinderella or Snow White, but of course you can tell me what would be more interesting/funny/etc.
• Volunteers - We're going to need not only performers, but costume designers, script writers, music players, and whatever else you can think of.
• How it should be done - should I write a fanfic-esque version of the play and post it up for people to respond to as the audience? Or should it logged out for hilarity?

If you guys approve of this, I'll collect all the details you guys give me and announce the results/decisions on April 4th, with Minnie formally announcing it on the 5th. if you think this needs more time, tell me!

I am totally volunteering him for stuff.

As for the play, I think we should do Princess and the Frog, because the princess herself is a self (and motherly) supporting figure, like the kimono girls.

Oh my god, I love this idea! <3 Gorthan really, really wants to help out, and he will!

However, I won't be available from the 6th to the 10th. ;;

Gorthan could be a somewhat anxious and nitpicky, but in the end excellent performer. He could probably co-write or proofread scripts, too, but not write them on his own.

And even if in general he enjoys and likes all stories, you know him by now - SNOW WHITE. SNOW WHITE ALL THE WAY. Either that, or Shakespeare.

Well these dates aren't set in stone, anything can change, and there's always backtagging! So, no worries. In fact, it was a combination of our plans with Gorthan (and with red!saber on another thread) that got me thinking to this idea, so I do have you to thank.

GORTHAN YOU CAN'T PLAY THE EVIL QUEEN, YOU DON'T LOOK AS FABULOUS IN A DRESS AS YOU THINK YOU DO. and by that i mean one vote for snow~ hahaha the ridiculous symbolism and allegories between that story our gor&min is crazy now. she'll always nom his poisoned apples.

I... I think that if we go with Snow White he'll actually ask to be the huntsman, as a sort of homage to Kravenn. The regret he feels, now that he realizes that what was tantamount to one of his sons essentially died for him, is one of the things he had wanted to originally talk to Minnie about.

... And h-hey, it's not like he wants to hurt Minnie or anything. ;;

Nobita will be in on this! And he will suggest a Japanese fairytale called, I think, The Flower-Growing Old Man. Basic summary-kind farmer takes in a dog that can find treasure, his evil neighbor steals the dog, dog tells evil neighbor to dig, evil neighbor finds bugs instead of treasure and kills the dog, kind farmer and his wife bury the dog and plant a tree over it, tree gets destroyed in the storm, kind farmer uses the wood to make a container for making rice cakes, the first attempt to make rice cakes ends up making gold appear in the container, evil neighbor steals container, but gets bugs instead of gold and burns the container, kind farmer takes the ashes, which turn out to make cherry blossoms bloom, and he performs for the emperor and gets rewarded, evil neighbor tries, but the ash only gets in the emperor's eyes and irritates him, so evil neighbor gets killed.

The main reason he'll suggest it is because of its theme of rebirth, which he finds appropriate for the situation.
