Hey, everybody! Alex here, with some details about an upcoming player plot courtesy of Meridiana (occultigen)!

So for the past couple of months, Meridiana's been exploring a personal passion for fashion, and she's at last decided she's ready to strike out and attempt to run her very own

FASHION SHOW
featuring a series of outfits she's designed and put together over the course of the past few months.

WHERE AND WHEN:

I'm hoping to have this take place in Olivine City on Monday, May 25th; so, shooting for just before Fourth Wall but still with plenty of time to get interested parties recruited and situated.


HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:

I'd really like to get a bunch of people involved with this, if there's interest for it, so some of the things she'd be looking for or open to working with are things such as:

• Models to wear the outfits!

(Depending on how many people are interested in this option, I may have to cap it for the sake of being realistic about how many outfits she could've reasonably assembled in the timeframe she's got, but there's probably room for at least six to eight people here.)

• One or two emcees to announce at the event and give commentary about the models!

• Someone to do music for the models to walk to!

• Someone to do refreshments and/or cater snacks for the thing!

• Other related things you might see at a fashion show: makeup artists, sponsors, VIPs, photographers, etc.


The line she's putting together is Pokemon-themed, so at some point in the process people who sign up to be models will receive word about which Pokemon their outfit is representing and either a reference image or a description of approximately what it looks like, for ease of threading.


ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW:

I'll most likely be putting up a log in route_1065 so that people can hang out and interact, whether they're involved in the show or just showing up to view it! You do not have to RSVP if you're just planning on attending the show; you're perfectly welcome to just show up and tag around on the log. People taking active roles in it, however, ought to speak with me in advance so that we can get things coordinated such that everyone's on the same page!

I'm expecting the log will largely be covering pre- and post-show mingling; rather than attempting to thread the runway walk itself, there'll probably just be a one-comment overview of what goes down during that for everyone's reference.


GETTING THE WORD OUT:

I'm going to do my best to have Meridiana make an IC post soliciting participation in this sometime this week, which I'll link here once it goes up. If you'd like to participate but would prefer to handwave the signing-up process, that's also fine, just let me know!

She will be accepting both male and female models, so don't let that be any sort of hindrance, if you're interested in taking part!

He's... probably not the greatest cook, being a ghoul-turned-human, but that's an option too!

I can definitely roll with either! I wouldn't mind drafting him as a male model (I've been playing around with notions of doing a Talonflame outfit in menswear) and I could definitely see her persuading him to do it ICly, but it's your call which you'd like to have him do. o/

Is arranging transportation to Olivine an option that's on the table? Because Pegasus would love the chance to get a mic and a willing audience again even if he's not strictly the center of attention, especially if it came with the chance to get to a bigger city.

So I'm going to have three people in that area, looks like - Kimblee, Tsukiyama and Nonon - and I am more than willing to have them be brought into this anywhere they're needed.

...Granted the idea of Tsukiyama providing food for anything is a little 8| just on principle but it's doable and music-wise Nonon has some really enthusiastic Swablu, if you need someone to handle things like that still, or you can shove them in whatever outfits you see fit.

Also Nonon's birds don't autopilot but that is totally fine since she's taught her Meowstic how to conduct because of course she has. (Meaning that at one point Cadence will probably go OH CRAP when she realizes she doesn't know what to switch to and somebody's gonna end up runway walking to O Fortuna.)

Neku has a LITTLE experience with sound mixing, but his real skills lie in color design- so he's free to assist with the stage set up. He's also a decent photographer and thanks to the Game has a (mostly unwilling) eye for fashion so if she needs someone to take pics that will make the designs pop he's your man.

One thing that immediately comes to mind is the fact that Meridiana's...not all that athletic and a lot of running around is likely to tire her out, so Ringabel could always act as a sort of general backstage manager? Sort of overseeing everything, coordinating everyone, ironing out wrinkles to make sure it runs smoothly, keeping in touch with her about how things are going, stuff like that? An all-purpose kind of coordinator guy. :|a

Oh, good! Having a detail-oriented person around would be great and yeah, in a role like that he'd definitely be bouncing around between pretty much everyone, so.

ok so Steven is an overexcited child and will want to help out however he can, if there's anything you think he could help out with, he'll be happy to take it. he CAN play a ukelele/guitar, and sing, if that helps.

I can think of a couple things he might do, sure! Because he's a kid, it's probably unlikely that he'd get drafted as a model if only because she's sewing full-size clothes and not ones for kids, but if you'd like to have him join the O Fortuna Swablu Chorus to help provide music, I can definitely swing that, or he could get picked up to act as an assistant to someone if you'd like to have him get involved that way.

Meridiana's really not all that physically capable, so having people on-site who can do a lot of running around and handling issues as they come up is definitely a useful support role!
