RESULTS ARE IN!

It's time, I have results for the 2nd Route battle royale!
I do to make note of a few things because of the odd number of characters I had to move a few people up in the first and second rounds.
Those people are marked with a star
The numbers in front of characters' names is the match #s for that round.

Winner gets the TMs: Blizzard, Thunder, and Fireblast
2nd place it's a choice of two of the three TMs
3rd place gets a choice of one of the three TMs
Everyone else that participated will revive a basket of berries and potions Plus l a "thank you for trying" card.
The tournament log will be put up on October 4th.

The log post for the tournament will have 3 main parts.
-The matches

• That is where will be all the fighting takes place

-Locker rooms

• The locker rooms are where participates only can mingle between matches

-Hallways and the stand

• These places are where participates and the audience can meet up and chat.

...take advantage on every situation where this airhead -- oops, sorry S1 EP03 Korra not the smartest Avatar ever tries to use bending? Because I'm thinking she'll forget the whole "powers don't work here" for some tiny moments in this tournament, and ...well, that might give some chances for Mikasa to win.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply! And yes, Mikasa is an opportunistic, almost ruthless fighter and she'll take the openings when they present themselves. Hope Korra doesn't mind a few bruises and scrapes?

Hey there! It looks like Yusuke and Mikasa fought in the final round, so uh, any thoughts on how that went? Based on what little I know about AoT/SnK, I'm inclined to think that it was a reeelatively close match, given that they're both young teenagers with experience fighting big scary monsters. That said, Mikasa might be more advanced in terms of pure fighting prowess, since she's a soldier and all? I'm not sure, though, because like I said, I don't know a whole lot about her or her canon outside of what I've seen around Tumblr, haha. If you have any ideas or input or whatever, feel free to let me know! I'm mostly just talking out of my ass over here, so yeah.

Either way, Yusuke will take the defeat pretty gracefully, since it came as a result of a fun, challenging fight, and will most likely ask her for a rematch sometime. o7

Hi! I apologize for the late reply. I'm not canon savvy to Yu Yu Hakusho myself, but from what I hear, I do agree the general consensus of how their battle went is EPIC SHOWDOWN OF THE CENTURY! It is noted in-universe that Mikasa is freakishly physically strong for a normal person, and that she's very lean and muscular underneath (5'7" and weighs 68 kg of muscle) due to her training with equipment that demands a strong body. Also strong mentally and has quick reflexes. No doubt Yusuke would still test her!

Heh, Mikasa will appreciate the rush he gave her and nod to that idea.

Hey, sorry this is late!

I'm pretty sure Dick will be pretty winded by this point. He also has a bad tendency to hop and jump around-- a lot of his in-series fights result in him getting grabbed while his feet are off the ground and tossed aside like a little ragdoll. And like Korra, if his back gets against the wall, he might forget he doesn't have weapons-- carrying them is extremely habitual for him.

What kind of abilities does Mikasa have?

No worries! I'm super late myself on this, but!

Mikasa's had about a years worth of getting into brawls with other kids when she was nine and spent about three years of extreme and dangerous military training in her world to fight giant monsters. Despite her slim build, she's very lean and muscular under her uniform and can be agile and acrobatic, since that's basically required for the equipment she uses on the job. While she is specialized in carving up fleshw ith giant boxcutters, she definitely doesn't lack in ruthless hand-to-hand combat skills.

It sounds like she wouldn't have a problem straight-up overpowering him, then. It sounds like they have similar abilities, and he could probably score a hit or two, but I don't think he could really take one from her.
