His Pokemon are up for grabs! - with two notes. First, Gora will be vanishing, unless he's taken by a character who is prepared to handle an overly aggressive dragon with a diminished sense of empathy (or a mun who's interested in using this Pokemon for something. It has a small Track Record in Violet City.)

Second, Urd and Chrome are a package deal and should be taken by the same person (or by close CR, as long as they can stay together.) It'd also be good for them to go to a breeder or otherwise someone who can help Urd realize her dream of MOTHERING THE DINOSAUR LEGION.

Aw, Dorumon. I know his time threading with Kirigiri was short, but I really did enjoy it while it lasted and I was really glad for the chance to play with you! (I'll just have to make sure to follow up with Walter twice as hard!)

Considering the nature of what they talked about, if you'd like to foist Gora off onto her, I'd be open to that; if not, she's a breeder and I'd be more than happy to adopt someone from his roster if you'd like them to stick around.

...Well, if there's anyone I'd be interested in seeing Gora go to, tbh, it'd be you because I know you're aces at this shit. Just so you're sure, further deets (this got long I'm really sorry):

Even with badges, Gora's hard to control. Dorumon only got him to chill out by scaring the piss out of him, by physically confronting him on his feet and screaming at him like a berserker despite getting pretty badly chomped three times and flicking blood everywhere. After that, Gora was totally obedient and docile, but only so far as Dorumon specifically ordered - he'd take any loophole to snarl and snap at things unless Doru was right there to tug his earfins or something.

The only other creature that can make him chill out so far is Urd, because she's goddamn terrifying and not even crazy dragons can resist her intense ancientbeast mom powers. He may also grudgingly follow the orders of other Pokemon that can out-brute-strength him. Dorumon was training him to playfight without really hurting the smaller Pokemon/human (read: himself), by stomping and biting and blasting the ground or nearby objects, but it's questionable whether Gora would put this to use on anyone he's not intensely fond of. Even with people he's fond of, he's always shown his affection through grumpy tsun playfighting and now that he's huge and has pointy bits, that's a problem on its own.

So, he's tough. But there's always the option of leaving him in the PC for ages, and Doru' did tell her that Gora was trouble, so.


AND YES I enjoyed that thread, even when it...caused me despair, as you might say. I hope I can make Walter a fun one to play with (he may find Carmen fascinating, specifically, for Reasons.)

...You know, I'm entirely not above letting Kirigiri get chewed on for trying to drywall the murderdragon and completely overestimating her own ability to control the thing. (Also I've been waiting for more than a year to have a good excuse for one of my characters to get hurt so this might be the opportunity!)

Anyway, if you have such faith in me, I can certainly give it a shot! But it's your decision, ultimately. o/

haha excellent. I kind of neglected to flesh Starly out much since he didn't interact with the team beyond kicking Gora in the face a bunch as a Shelgon, so you can do more or less whatever you want with him.

hello! i'm sad to see dorumon go ;_; i really liked what i read of him, and i thought he was pretty cute.. anyway! i was wondering if tsubasa could have urd? she's a breeder, and she's in the mindset of gotta breed the very best like no one ever has. she's also pretty patient, and pretty motherly (she likes to scold people who do bad) so i think she and urd would be a good fit for each other based on their personalities. if not, that's okay too!

Sure! Urd is on the slightly more...Courage Wolf side of things, as motherliness goes; as long as she is around, all under her care will become big and strong and will fear nothing, even if she has to feed the poor tiny things herself to make it happen. On that note, she's also one of the fossilmons from the recent event, so she's got a big of time-related culture shock. But HER KIND WILL RISE AGAIN. THEY WILL BLOCK OUT THE SUN WITH THE SHADE OF THEIR MIGHTY WINGS AND PAINT THE EARTH RED WITH THE BLOOD OF THEIR PREY. FROM THE NEST THEY SHALL EMERGE AND TAKE THEIR RIGHTFUL PLACE AS THE RULERS OF THE WORLD OLD OR NEW. And in the meantime, she'll very calmly and resolutely groom the hell out of her new not-Aerodactyl babies.

Chrome the intensely anxious Shieldon is a freebie with Urd, because the poor thing will burst into tears at the sight of her own shadow and requires her surrogate mama's presence to not work herself into knots over new and scary things like carpets and flush toilets.
