Look out, here comes another intro!

My name is Sami, and I'm brand-new to Route! I'm bringing in Germany/Ludwig Beilschmidt from Axis Powers Hetalia. He's a soldier to the core, and he'll most likely be taking this Pokemon training business verrrrryyyy seriously. Like he does everything else. (Don't worry, he won't be making his Pokemon run laps or do push-ups or anything like that. Maybe they could run with him, though.) For the sake of information, his starter is an Elekid.

I'm Lucy, and I have Aradia Megido from Homestuck, and like everyone in her canon she types in a very specific way when using the text function, which you can view and opt out of here!

And those posts look like all you need to me, although I think an app/character profile is useful for prospective canonmates/curious people (for the canon point/info, etc). Maybe a permissions post if you have a reason for one.

I think the posts you've listed are pretty good for a character. I might suggest posting them with the "Don't show on Reading Pages" feature enabled so it doesn't spam up the friends list. You can do that by editing the date on the "Post a new entry" page and checking the clicky box there.

Oh, since you're new to Route can I recommend picking up a free Pokemon at the Breeding Centre? There's a newbie deal for all newcomers in Johto so everyone is allowed a free egg so long as they are in stock. ICly, Germany could have heard about it from an advertisement or seen a poster. They do try to promote it as much as they can in-game.

Thanks for telling me about the newbie deal! I'll definitely stop by and pick up an egg... as soon as I can figure out which one to pick for Ludwig. :'D We can pick up more than one egg at a time with the newbie deal as long as we pay for the other ones, right?

That's right! :D So you can have the more expensive one be free and pick up a few cheap ones if you like.

Oh, while I have you here... the Pokemon arrive as eggs, right? Also, where do we find out how long it'll take the eggs to hatch? I know the main navigation page has something on egg cycles somewhere, but I can't seem to find how many days it'll take a specific Pokemon to hatch.

I can give you that information if you like, but if you want to find out for yourself you can click on the name of the Pokemon. That will load up it's Bulbapedia page and on the sidebar there, it'll list it's egg cycle.

However, some of these eggs have been sitting around for quite some time. I'm sure no one would object to a much earlier hatching if you want. If you control + F What about egg cycles? here, you can find the egg cycle and their hatch days.
