Raiding for Knowlege, Pillaging for facts plot

Gotta know it all raid~

Hello Routeans, this random Dawn has appeared to ask for your participation in a fun little player plot (100% mod approved of course)

Knowledge is power and since the beginning the characters in route have very little of it when it comes to the world they’re now in. Killua for one is a touch sick of it. He’s figured there are only two groups that have a lot of confidential information on the land of pokémon. One group would be Team Rocket, which would be harder to get into give some of its member. The other group is the pokémon professors and other pokémon scientists. He’s planning on raiding them for their sweet sweet info. He’s letting anyone who interested come for ride.

In this particular plot, characters have to chance to steal information from Scientist and the professors from all regions. There is no particular area this is taking place in so if a character is in Cherrygrove they might find a marine pokeologist or something. you might find  What sort of information am I talking about?

There are only two rules the mods gave me, the first is depending on the place the vaguer information with will be. This means info about Johto and Kanto will be pretty solid for the most part, with vague mentions about the unseen legendaries. Sinnoh will have slightly more vague information like it will mention geography the direction it is away from each other. Hoenn only super vague stuff will be found and Unova being the most recent region on the games mean that only hardly any solid info.

The second rule is be as creative as possible about it, that means you can get real crazy without giving anything way.

Stuff they’re suppose find

• A book with the list of all 649 pokémon in it, it will have names, basic visual descriptions, where they come from. (Only catchable pokémon that are now in Johto or Kanto including the ones that showed up from other regions will have full pokédex like entries.)
• A list of the other professors and what they specialize in
• Vague mentions of the other villain teams.
• Names of the other regions and some information on them (Laws, geography, and what not)

Fun stuff they could find. Here are just some a few examples to get your minds working

• A list of professions in pokémon land and what they do (From pokémon rangers to Co-coordinator to Frontier Brain. ))
• Pokémon history and myths
• Name of regions outside the main five from the
• Unknown pokémon facts you can’t in the pokédex. (Like don't give a pikachu ketchup or slowpoke tail recipes)
• Unknown facts about the gym leaders
• Maybe the lyrics to the first pokérap.

The raid itself will start Jan 25 and end on the 28. If you want to join in comment below. I'll have post up about Killua asking the network about joining his raid on 9th. This post will be open for other characters to discuss they're own plans with each instead of just Killua if they want to do that.

Will there be a service for flying people to the raid and back? This would definitely interest Ash, but he's on his way to Azalea with nothing to ride.

This isn't taking place in a particular city. There is at least a scientist in or around the area your character is in, not just the major professors. So in Azelea, there might be a scientist hanging around that studies slowpokes or bug types or something.

I see. And is there anything planned concerning the police's reaction, or do we figure that out ourselves?

It really does depend on how you want to go about it. At best their response will be a report that a bunch of stuff has been stole and be on the look out for the thieves. If someone gets caught in the act, it will be just like committing any other crime in pokemon land.

Mom's more of a hacker. Can any of that information be obtained through that particular skill set?

Do you mean she'll be hacking from inside a scientist's building or hacking from an outside source.

She can do either, but it's more likely that she'll do it from an outside source if only because she might not know where the scientist in question lives.

Two questions: first, while Sion isn't inclined to go out and steal information, he'd definitely be interested in what was found out. Is there any chance of negotiating an IC information exchange of his and Ryner's own research (which has gotten pretty extensive on a couple subjects by now) for anything of interest obtained in the raids?

Secondly, Geddoe doesn't really CARE either way, but would Killua have any interest in hiring a mercenary's help? >_>

There going to be an information exchange after this is all over for all characters to see. Just locked out from the Police~~

Killua probably wont hire anyone to help him however that just means if any else needs help then Kil will point them in Geddoe's direction.

Info: Names of children supposedly sent to Whirl Islands because of delinquency, and research into whether or not they existed, and if they were recorded missing after being sent there as a punishment day
Detail: I intend for Danny to have Froslass by then, so he'll use her ghost abilities to gain access and take the information, much like he would had he his powers.

Info: Anything regarding legendary Pokemon and their significance to the regions, and/or possibly the list of Pokemon Professors?
Detail: Hacking! She'll be off in a secluded part of whatever town or city she's in on the off chance the attempt gets traced. Also, Mom will be careful to not have it trace back to her. She might be able to plant false information or wipe out traces of other raiders if they plan on hacking as well into some scientist's computer.

Info: Mostly information about technology and transportation. (And Bug-types. Always the freaking Bug-types.) Most importantly, he'll learn that regions have different PC systems and that there's a space center out there somewhere which means he'll spend the rest of his stay looking for it.
Detail: He'll be using the Pickup duo, his Zubat and his Spinarak for easy gathering. He has plenty of experience in this, so he'll be happy to help anyone else in the vicinity.

Detail: Good old break-in, as it's something Crow specializes in.

Though I don't know at this time exactly how it would or could play out, if Clementine could be convinced to volunteer her Sentret for the raid, it'd fit in well with his "character arc" of sorts out of the ideas and hypothetical scenarios I'm playing with for her team.

Clementine is naming her team after people from her canon - I've sort of gotten to imagining that since her Sentret is named after the team derp, in a self-fulfilling prophecy, she doesn't have particularly high expectations of him as a battler and doesn't make it as much of a point to train him as to train her Cubone and Farfetch'd. He is, however, hoping to please, probably the smartest of her Pokémon, and also observant and alert, being a Sentret - and his ability is Run Away, in case something were to go wrong. Being used as a "spy" might be good for him.
