(no subject)

So lately, Firefox has been telling me that Bulbapedia might harm my computer if I go to the site. I know a few other people have had the problem on different browsers as well.

Thought I'd mention it for people who might not know. Also ask if anyone has any idea why it's suddenly doing this?

No idea, but there IS an alternative you can use in the meantime. Serebii.net tends to be a good source for pokemon-related stuff.

Still, hoping that whatever's going on with Bulbapedia is fixed soon. It's showing up as a malicious site on Google Chrome as well.

I'm getting that too. Since it's a wiki-style site, it could be that some rude anon decided to plant something, and it was reported to Google enough. Or it could be something stupid planted in their ads too, that's always a possibility. I'm sure that the admins are working to fix everything asap, so it should clear up in a few days...

EDIT: Yup, I'm poking around and it's something in their ads.

i ignored it because nothing was coming up on my anti-virus scans. it got fixed hardly a few hours after so no problems for me.

As already pointed out, it seems to be an issue with their ads.

And for anyone else like me who can't READ serebii without their eyes hurting, Vee-kun has a good, easy to use pokedex. :|b

...also I find it ironic that google is the one reporting the site as being a threat when, if I recall, it's google that the problem ads are powered through. :|
