→ this is more for actual critique and discussion. Please don't just blindly praise a person or just call them horrible. If someone's doing a wonderful job, you can tell them, just tell them why, or even where they're showing off bonus perks. If someone's doing a not-so-wonderful job, tell them why, give them things to improve on if you can. Examples, links, things that can give them something to work on. Meaning, no bashing, flaming, or nasty behavior. Please keep it civil.

Less a crit, and more a question for you, but...why was there no post about the attack on Violet City before it happened? Slipped your mind? Too busy? Any other reason which is perfectly acceptable? Really I'm just curious.

I get how you're trying to keep the surprise up and probably don't want anyone steam-rolling the plot and changing things without letting you and Red know, and I do understand that, but a simple turn of phrase like "Seth will escape no matter who or what comes after him, but we're open to how much damage he can do to the Tower because that's up to you guys" would probably have solved that. So, really, I'm just wondering why there was no warning to everybody else. I knew because you told me and there was the log, but because it was your plot, I didn't want to step on any toes by putting out a post warning the Corps when there was really so little information Lightning could give. Hell, even knowing it would happen I had to scramble to get her travelling party turned around because there was no warning or set date for the attack. ICly understandable, but OOCly? Just wondering what happened there.

Of course, don't get me wrong, it's a great plan and I'm still happy to be a part of it! I just can't shake the feeling that it would go a lot smoother for everybody involved if we had an open channel to plot with you guys about how things go down in any further attacks that may or may not happen. That's my two cents.

...I'm admittedly not quite understanding what you're asking; I did send you a PM giving details regarding it/how to proceed, and asking you to contact me if there were further questions. If you did contact me, I never received it. That may have been due to issues on my end; part of it was electrical and internet failure because of Sandy throwing a wrench in my ability to do anything for the first half of the month, and the latter half I can explain to you over AIM if you need further explanation, but there were RL things that came up.

Basically, November was a clusterfuck of all sorts of things; I'm not...entirely sure what you're asking regarding posts, though, as that's never been anything we've done (primarily because we have been godmoded really badly in the past, regardless of what turns of phrase we throw in), so if I could have some clarification on that?

Ack--I'm sorry. Should have waited till I got more sleep in me to ask--it was really just a lack of understanding as to why there hadn't been a post warning others of the plot that was about to go down so they'd have time to plan their own character's response instead of scrambling, that's all. I didn't know the exact reasons, so...yeah. confusion was get.

Though what's you've said already is explanation enough, I promise. Cause I did send you a PM asking for a timeline update about a week before Ryuunosuke's post but got nothing, so...yeah that makes a lot of sense. DW must have been holding notif's hostage anyway. Sorry bout that!

Hey, no worries! I'll definitely try to get more in the practice of establishing more OOC contact in the future, as it is a good thing to keep in mind; as I said, it's something that we've been godmoded on pretty hard in the past, but the issue back then shouldn't continue to happen at this point, so we'll try to get a bit more in contact with the playerbase as a whole if something large is about to go down. Thanks for poking me for that; I do agree that it would be much easier to run things if everyone has more communication open, it's something I've been discussing with Redd as well because our own communication has been on the...interesting side in the past.

November was just a bad month communication-wise on my side, though, and I do want to apologize to you for that. I'll see what I can do about keeping it more open, and checking if I should re-send a PM if I don't get a response to it instead of assuming all's good on the technological front - that was a mistake on my part, and again, sorry about that.
