I'm really looking forward to it, even if she is running off to go adventuring! Dirk will just be impressed that Jake stuck around instead of going with her.

He's actually trying not to sequence break gyms, I think, so. But he should be treated to them discussing ruins/towers~~ or pokemon babies at some point since Aradia gets along super well with Jake. They could not be more platonic friends if they tried really, so at least she's out of the triangle shenanigans?

Yes, good for here escaping the drama. It is probably the safest position to be in. She can watch it unfold and eat popcorn and wince at the trainwreck it becomes.
