This is "Stiles" Stilinski from the MTV show Teen Wolf in which there are many shirtless men- none of which are him. The quotation marks are there because it's a nickname, and his real name is unknown.

Stiles is the Robin to his best friend's Batman, and generally provides excellent support for the whole cast. His hobbies include snarking, talking to himself, and dealing with werewolves.

HEY SUP Y'ALL name's Anna and I've heard a lot about this game the past year or so, and I've finally sat down and joined.

This is Madoka Kaname from Teenage Girls Suffering and Dying: The Anime Series, aka Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She's coming in from the tail end of the third timeline, so she has a shitton more confidence than normal, but is stuck in a little bit of a depressive funk. Hey! So, the name's Dalrint and I'm brand new to your lovely pokemon-dotted fields. It's great to meet all of you, and I'm looking forward to playing here!

To that end, I'm bringing Astrid Hofferson from How To Train Your Dragon. Specifically, she's coming in after the end of the Gift of the Night Fury short, without her dragon or her axe, and she'll be less than thrilled about the whole thing, really.

Her starter is an Axew because...it's a dragon pokemon named axew, and she lost her dragon and her axe. I just couldn't resist. She'll be a trainer, and probably get pretty into the whole 'badge chasing' competition. She does enjoy a good competition.

Hey, Route, this is Alex, player of Yagyuu (usedlaserbeam) and Carmen Sandiego (doitrockapella) bringing you an unrepentant bastard from an early nineties TV show where highschoolers never go to high school and some guy investigates murders through the power of Tibetan glass bottles.

His name is Albert Rosenfield (that's A-L-B-E-R-T, which he will be happy to spell out for you) and he is basically the six-time gold medalist in the Snark Olympics, with a silver in Lack of Social Graces and the bronze in General Unpleasantry. He is also a special agent and forensic pathologist with the FBI, and coworker to one Dale Cooper, who is also quite possibly the only person who can stand him.

I apologize to those I was threading with - particularly those with Kimblee - but offline life hit me in the face with a lot of...supremely unpleasant things at once; I put up a hiatus notice in the designated post, but haven't been functioning well enough to announce it. However! I...thought it might be best to verify exactly where I went before I fell off the face of the planet again, so here we go - I'm going to be gone until at least the first of the month, but certainly no longer than the fourth; someone's going to be visiting me from out of the country and she'll be here for about a week or so, and I have family obligations for a little while after that.

I'll probably be scarce on Plurk and AIM, and likely absent entirely from the game for that time; I'll see you all when I get back!

Lycoris here, aka the player of Crow Hogan, bringing you another bird character into the game: namely, Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2!

For those who haven't seen the movie what are you even waiting for GO WATCH IT IT'S MARVELOUS, Shen is an albino (or leucistic, to be precise) peacock who enjoys committing genocide and blowing things up because he believes his parents didn't love him enough. He also wants to conquer all of China, but Johto and Kanto will have to do for now. And since Team Rocket can never have enough evil geniuses who like playing with explosives, he'll be starting as a Grunt with a Skarmory and a Houndour.

His intro will be coming up once the event dies down a bit assuming I can hold back that long, so look forward to that! If you need to contact me/plot/anything, you can do so via AIM (vertigo monologue) or plurk (psychelocks). And now, without further ado, please:

Hey there! This is Neb, another Route newbie, and I'm bringing in Utena Tenjou from Revolutionary Girl Utena. She's a brave, determined young teenager who tries her best to be ~dashing~ and courageous, just like the noble prince she met when she was a little girl, but... well, she's learned recently that chivalry doesn't always work out so well in the real world. She'll have a lot to think about as she goes on her pokemon adventure, and while she may be hesitant to get involved in another round of crazy duels battles, she'll be a lot more eager to improve as a trainer once she sees what those dastardly Rockets are up to. Hopefully she and her trusty new Ponyta will be up to the challenge!

I'll toss up an IC intro post tonight or tomorrow, but first I want her to tag around and see what's going on on the network. I'm also up to face-to-face interaction with anyone in or around New Bark Town and Route 29, if anyone's interested! Maybe there can be a newbie traveling party?

Hiatus + one little thing

Okay, so as some of you on my plurk know, I have the worst luck and am now kind of infected with nasty things and my stomach is trying to break out and kill me. Or something. It's accompanied with a lot of headaches and general fatigue, so I'm going to go on hiatus!

This affects Sisuca, Miu, Chihaya, and Owen! I'll try to be back in a week, and I'll still be making a Miu post (since it's event-related), but tags will be mega slow.

Also, a big thank you to whoever renewed Miu and Sisuca's accounts. I have no idea who you are, but you're very sweet to take care of them both!

Hi, I'm Nocturne. I have never roleplayed on Dreamwidth before, but Route looks like a fun place to start.

So I'm bringing this super cool guy whose name is pretty much shared with the protagonist of the Pokemon anime series...in the dub anyway.

It would seem that there is already a Tales of the Abyss cast here, so you may be familiar with Asch, who looks like your Luke's mirror reflection. He's not very pleasant, especially if you identify yourself as Kimlascan noble with hair of red and a case of amnesia amnesia, but he could be slightly less unpleasant to other people. He may try to take advantage of cases mistaken identity, but he will probably slip up by saying something dumb. Anyway, he's a trainer, and he'll probably start training in order to access other places and maybe go home. Not to mention, he's one of those proud guys who hates to lose, so becoming stronger should help with that whole not losing thing.

I am on at random hours, so you may be best off poking me with a PM if you want to talk...but I will try to remember that MSN/Windows Live exists!
