-1 lighthouse, oops
Hello Johto,
2 months ago, Dr Kato here made a post to his fellow Rockets detailing an invention he had created, with a warning. Well, in just over a week or so that two month mark will hit, and he intends to go through with his demonstration!
By blowing up Olivine Lighthouse.
The plot is mod approved and he will be assisted by the charming (and completely unaware) Luke (bellyshirt), who will be planting the bomb in the name of Team Rocket, Oh God What Have I Done?, and Kato...being a dick.
The bomb will take out the top half of the Lighthouse, so basically all the stuff important to its operation; don't worry, Jasmine and Amphy won't be in there! The blast won't be killing any NPCs, however when it comes to player characters....well! This is where all of you come in, should you choose to participate!
Those characters based in Olivine City can react to the explosion/get injured in the blast should you so choose, and those watching on the network (the whole thing willl be broadcasted, because...Kato is a dick) can react to the fact that Team Rocket just went there. I'll leave it up to your discretion! Expect some of the surrounding buildings to cop a bit of damage, but at least the poor Gym will escape unscathed?
Those characters wanting to go after Kato will be out of luck, I'm afraid; he'll be watching everything from a vantage point on the beach, and will quickly disappear once the blast has concluded. But don't worry; he'll get knocked down a few pegs in a couple of weeks, the smug bastard.
The actual explosion will be a log, just like what is normally used for plots. It will go up on the 23rd, the two month anniversary of Kato's warning post!
Anyway, that's pretty much it; feel free to ask any questions you have, and Ara (Luke-mun) or I will answer for you!

Seriously though, he's got a post up here for anyone who'd like to come along, and once the lighthouse blows he'll be indirectly I.D.'d by the cops and chased down for two weeks. I'd be happy for him to get his just desserts!
This offer is not limited to one person; he can take a surprising amount of damage. Also psychological damage/loss of friends/negative CR is more than welcome!
