IT'S TIME TO D-D-D-D-DUEL!

Hey there! This is Neb, another Route newbie, and I'm bringing in Utena Tenjou from Revolutionary Girl Utena. She's a brave, determined young teenager who tries her best to be ~dashing~ and courageous, just like the noble prince she met when she was a little girl, but... well, she's learned recently that chivalry doesn't always work out so well in the real world. She'll have a lot to think about as she goes on her pokemon adventure, and while she may be hesitant to get involved in another round of crazy duels battles, she'll be a lot more eager to improve as a trainer once she sees what those dastardly Rockets are up to. Hopefully she and her trusty new Ponyta will be up to the challenge!

I'll toss up an IC intro post tonight or tomorrow, but first I want her to tag around and see what's going on on the network. I'm also up to face-to-face interaction with anyone in or around New Bark Town and Route 29, if anyone's interested! Maybe there can be a newbie traveling party?

Haha, yeah, that's one way to put it. I'll be the first to admit that it's kind of a trip.

And thanks, Goggs! I admit I haven't seen his canon, but Apollo looks like an interesting guy to have in a Pokemon game, especially with how he feels about nature. I look forward to seeing him around.

And then there's the movie... What is with the cars!?

Aquarion is... um... well it's not Utena levels of bizarre by any means, but it's a weird show. Slightly flawed, but I like the characters. Also the sequel pulls a stupid, stupid retcon of the original series, but I won't go into that rant here. Though I'm clinging to the fact that the OVA is in a different universe than the TV series and so shouldn't be affected by said retcon.

He's a bit of a challenge sometimes (the whole "making animals fight for the amusement of humans" thing and knowing nothing about civilization and not liking humans and all that fun stuff), but he seems to working as well as I hoped. And as you can see, Utena pinged one of the things he'll respond to. ^^
