extended hiatus bandwagon

So the trip I took this week turned into a job offer, which therefore is turning into figuring out how to move across the continental US within the space of a month. As a result, playing four characters in a plot-heavy period doesn't seem like the most prudent idea, so I've gotten approval to extend my hiatus to August 17th at the latest. (I'll return sooner if I can! <3)

During that time, therefore:


Ken empireofmymind is training like a madman in Ecruteak after hearing about the Center disasters/confirming that everyone he knows is OK. He will emerge from his month of solitary badassery ready to do some very brave but very stupid things in the pursuit of Team Rocket and/or any other evildoers that cross his path.

Malik best_laid_plans is not impressed with this plot! It is not sneaky, devious, or ulterior-motive-y enough for him, at least not that he can figure out. So he'll mostly be focusing on the Game Corner, getting it spruced up, being competent in his own little corner until he gets a feel for who he can "trust". (He'll also be trying to learn the Pokémon TCG.)

Kanade usedperishsong is lost in the woods on a journey of self-discovery after a conversation with Karkat that really kinda shook her to the core/Chris deciding she needed some space. Ostensibly she's looking for Chris anyway, and shall basically spend a month roughing it and figuring out what she wants to do with (what's left of) her life.

Mimi sistermimi developed electric powers, which backfired horribly in that they also gave her some heart problems and all of her Pokémon (except her starter Chinchou) are now terrified of her. She's in Cherrygrove, waitressing when not holed up in bed sparking and whimpering and not missing her sister at all, what are you talking about.


Apologies to everyone I'd had plot with/ongoing threads with for these guys, particularly everyone on board Malik's Psychic-type schemings. You guys are all free to start without me, since that's gotten bumped back so often by other things coming up regardless. ^___^;;; So please, by all means, wash some brains!

I'll see everybody again in August, settled in and ready to go!
