Hello everyone, I'm GoggleDragon (or Goggs if that's too long to type ^_^) and this is my first character in Route, Apollo, from the Genesis of Aquarion OVAs. Because obscure versions of lesser-known characters are always fun, right?

For those who don't know this version of Apollo (in other words, everyone, probably) he's lived his entire life in a cave in a forest, watching evil human poachers run around killing his animal friends. In other words, he knows almost nothing about civilization or humans other than that everyone but him and his grandfather are jerks who destroy nature. Also, he's a psychic who can communicate with ~~plants and animals~~ Pokémon. ...This is gonna be fun, isn't it?

Well, enough rambling from me. It's nice to meet you all and I'm looking forward to playing with everyone!

Sorry, I've been champing at the bit on Plurk for the last hour now. I play from Sousei and Evol both, so I knew exactly what was going on as soon as I saw a notif with that username hit my inbox. Actually just watched the first part of the OVA a few days ago.

Are you taking him from before or after the mess with Silvia/Reika and Toma?

Oh right. I'm Colleen by the way. >_> I play Serah Farron from Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII.

Eeeeee! [Bounces] SOMEONE ELSE WATCHES THIS CRAP! I mean seriously, the series has awesome characters, music, and robots, and it ends up as this...meh...thing. The OVAs and Evol are both great though.

Actually, I also play the TV series Apollo at

digital_dive, and I'm trying to decide what Evol character(s) to bring there once the series finishes. [Clings to you in hopes that you or your friend have a TV series Silvia for Dive. Lonely Apollo is lonely.]

He's being taken from right before the OVA starts. Playing one Apollo who misses Silvia is quite enough. ^_^;

I actually prefer the TV series to the OVA. So I'm abnormal in that I've never really thought of Sousei as being crap. XD

I have a bunch of Evol characters (though I mainly seem to be gravitating to Mix right now) as well as a Silvia. (No username for her yet though, usernames for Silvia are hard.)

Well to be fair, I don't think end of the first part of the OVA Apollo would miss her that much. They hadn't seemed to be super bonded just yet, despite their bonding over animal skulls and the like.

True, but I rarely even consider taking characters from anything but the end of a series for some reason. ~~But holding animal skulls makes you husbando and waifu~~~

Sousei's been out long enough spoilers aren't something I'm concerned about.

I tend to play mid-series often. Though I'll play post or pre series sometimes considering.

See, you're doing unproductive things and we're working on gathering an Evol cast/having Evol parties/planning Epic Mafia games. So we're totally being productive. (True story I ignore about 80% or more of the posts on Plurk)

Point. I tend to be pretty conservative on that front most of the time though, so... onewingedangel? ...Wait...

Oh yeah, because the giant Final Fantasy VII reference is totally a good idea. XD; I have considered hiddenfeathers/hiddenwing and halfofawhole though.

Yeah, same. This is a rare case where, imo, the sequel is better than the original. I want to see what happens next, not just more of the characters. Definitely hoping history doesn't repeat itself again though...

A friend's even making me icons. I'll have a nice big set when they're done. They've already made a good 55 and they're only about 7 episodes into the series. XD

If TV series!Apollo is anything to go by, expect about 12 times that when they're done. XD;;; ~~I still don't know what I'm gonna do with them all.~~

That is a flaw, but on the other hand we don't have to deal with the uncomfortable crushing on her brother now, though I get the feeling it'll come up in Evol at some point. Evol has Amata though, in all his awkward glory. I love that kid. XD

HAHA oh man Aquarion...! I've been marathoning Evol past few days so this is totally cool.

But YES, I highly recommend it! SH3 is my personal favorite, but out of the series as a whole, SH2 is probably the best out of all of them.
