GOD JUST IMAGINING HIS POKEMON ADVENTURES gives me immense joy tbh... and :O!! oh shit. god yeah i really liked what i did see of twin peaks and i wish i could say i'd finished the 2nd season but it's sitting on my dvd shelf in wait because i keep getting caught up in other shenanigans but i ended up binge-reading like 30 wiki articles embarrassingly so i know way too much now (if i can even remember most of it since it was like a ridiculous acid trip of information)
god okay so since i'm embarrassing i have two stories that i have to tell since i RARELY FIND PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT:
story number one: i play world of warcraft like a big nerd, and there's a pvp battleground in warcraft called Twin Peaks and every time i saw it, i kind of chuckled a bit like "haha yess" BUT THEN I WENT AND PLAYED IN IT A FEW TIMES AND ENDED UP GETTING THESE BATTLEGROUND-SPECIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS and oh my god i'd wondered if them naming it Twin Peaks was a deliberate homage to the show but then, the achievements were: [I'm in the White Lodge/I'm in the Black Lodge] and [Fire, Walk With Me]
and i was like. oh my god yes this was deliberate and it is beautiful (on the subject of my enjoyment of mr. maclachlan, there's also many Dune-themed achievements and one that you get after defeating a boss that is basically a manifestation of the emotion of fear (the ~Sha of Fear~) you can get an achieve [The Mind-Killer] and nobody appreciated it as much as me in game :'|)
AND STORY NUMBER TWO: idk if you've ever watched/heard of the show Portlandia, but it's about Portland, OR and how weird it is, and Kyle MacLachlan plays the mayor of Portland in the show—and so we had this mayoral race here in Portland some years back where basically both of the candidates running for mayor were... less than ideal. so i chose to just write-in a name in my ballot instead of picking one of the dudes and just wrote-in Kyle MacLachlan with the hope that someone, somewhere, reading my ballot would appreciate my hideous joke :'||| i like to belieeeve
AND WOW I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LENGTH OF MY PRESENT SHENANIGANS HERE but yess i will have to find a reason to tag molly definitely even if levi's kind of a massive asshole but that's what makes it fun to force him to interact with younger kids!!
