Anti-Rocket Plotting: Squads (Updated)

Hey guys, we're fixing to move into the next stage of Anti-Rocket. And having a soldier like Lightning around, that means we'll be setting up squads. Safety in numbers, never go it alone, the good stuff. But before this issue is brought up ICly, we want to work out everything with you right here.

First off, here is a list of the people who have volunteered to join this group. Please notify us via comment if your character is missing from this list. Our list is based on recruitments here and here.

If anyone has thoughts or ideas to get those requiring CR involved, do feel free to mention that in a comment. We'd highly encourage plotting, especially to get other anti-TR factions aware of one another (in the case of Young Justice or Misaki). Alternatively if you're looking for ideas as to how your character becomes aware of this group, mention it here.

Having said that, we're ready to move on to the meat and potatoes: squads. After some discussion, we'd like to ask two questions of the Anti-Rocket volunteers (including those not yet ICly involved, for future reference):

A. Do you have a traveling group/individuals you'd like to work with for a squad?

B. Does your character travel alone?

C. Is your character currently in Team Rocket?

D. Is your character a non-combatant?

If your character travels alone, there will be IC discussion of forming squads so no one is caught unawares or by themselves. Here, you can let us know if you'd like to be placed randomly or you can decide amongst yourselves who'd work with who. Also let us know if you're having any difficulties finding a group. There's plenty of us, so we can work things out.

Once we have this information, we'll be ready to move forward ICly.

Athrun's missing from that list -- he should already be in on it, since he was one of the first people Merlin spoke to about it. Also, it doesn't matter to me who he ends up with -- I just request that he ends up in charge of his squad. Currently, he's not traveling at all, but has been known to travel alone.

Arturia can easily recruit people should she be pointed in the right direction. I think I might try to have something with Xion come up while she's at the Breeding Centre (should we do a log if you happen upon this? ;D)

As for the question re: squads and travel.

Arty doesn't travel often, but she's the King of Knights. She can easily fit into a leadership role and will probably end up being the 'mother hen' of any squad. Primarily residing in the Breeding Centre House in Goldenrod City, she is capable of travel. More importantly, she feels rather passionately about this due to her connection with Merlin. If there's something that needs to be done, she'll go straight in and do it.

If there's anyone who wants to be a part and needs CR/pointed in the right direction, I'm open for plotting. You can shoot me a PM or a private plurk if you want to work out details. I'm game for handwaving interactions as well if necessary o/

Heiji is currently traveling alone; he currently has two with Fly, one of which is potentially capable of carrying a second passenger as well, and I don't have any real preferences about where he gets sorted!

Un....fortunately some of Emmy's strongest CR is with Rocket members, so this could be somewhat tricky for her. Will this be an issue, do you think?

Hm...I should ask this: what does she think of the organization itself? I know at least a few people on the above lists are either in TR presently or know people who are, so I wouldn't necessarily say having CR with members is bad at all.

Oh she thinks they're despicable, from what she's heard! She doesn't know her friends are in TR, so. If that's not a problem I'm happy to do whatever when it comes to getting the necessary CR!

It's not a problem at all, no worries there. Does Emmy currently know any of the people listed? If not, maybe Ven can talk with her.

For Aoto: A; None in particular! Though grouping him up with either Saber (particularly Nero) would likely be hilarious.

B: He does indeed! And... is probably doing so right now toward Violet, haha. He's on the badge hunt and all.

C is a negative, and D is a ABSOLUTELY NOT he loves the battle.

As for Hayate, he wouldn't be much of a active member in this, but he'll help when he can if someone pings him about it or he's in the area for whatever. He's had experience with the whole saving people from Rockets thing, after all. He's going to be traveling with Rika and Yayoi though once he gets moving again, so... idk.

For Yuuji: I don't really have anyone in mind as far as squads go. I do know he'll try to take lead of that group though (if no one steps up and blah blah blah, because he's one lazy bum) and he's currently traveling all by himself! He isn't in TR and he knows how to fight!

For Conner: Outside of his four-man squad in TR he's got the YJ alliance. And he definitely knows how to fight |D

...Somehow I managed to miss these, but it's definitely something that Fang would be interested in. Considering she's been around Lightning for a long time, she's probably heard of it that way, but I'd happily do a thread with someone if that's preferred! As for the questions:

A) She'd want to either be with Lightning/Hope (having fought beside them previously, family, etc) or Xion (trying to keep her out of trouble) but would be fine anywhere.

B) not at the moment, though she's considering splitting off and going for the badges

C/D) No and no.

Oh, yes. Lightning would have indeed clued Fang into the plan; trust and family and all that good stuff, so it should be just a matter of getting to Goldenrod now before Fang takes off for the badges.

I have no preference for Hikari's squad, she usually doesn't travel alone though. But so far she's the only member of her group that's part of this.

She's not in Team Rocket, and she um... kinda is a non-combatant in the sense that even back home she had a monster do the fighting for her. XD

But she's perfectly willing to fight, so... that shouldn't matter.
