Slowatus

Since I'm at my friends' house I will have less time for tagging around and I'm really quite slower than usual (and miss stuff). So I'm going to announce a not-quite-a-hiatus, but a slowatus for the next two weeks. If I can't find the time to tag more I'm going to make it into a full hiatus, but that's not it for now.

I should be back fully around the start of August.

If there's any posts you feel like I need to tag and that I've missed, please give me a poke especially all the girls for Ren- Imean!

Sudden potential hiatus, then not-so-sudden hiatus the weekend after

Hey everybody!

So, I was just informed about half an hour ago that my family is going to be visiting my grandmother's beach house this weekend, leaving tomorrow morning and coming back Sunday afternoon. Short notice, but what can you do. There's a chance that I might have internet out there, but there's a somewhat greater chance that I won't, and besides, things are going to be kind of crazy with family stuff, so I'm going to take this chance to call a brief hiatus for the weekend, which will hopefully not really be a complete hiatus. If I can get on even briefly, I will!

For the duration of the weekend, if I do end up not having internet, Ryner will be with Sion as is usual (I will talk to you tonight), and Kurow will be Kurow-ing it up in Olivine, finally getting in that gym challenge that was already approved but needed to be pushed back due to plot stuff.

That takes care of this weekend. But since I'm already here, I might as well also block out next weekend as a hiatus as well, because I will be going to Otakon! (Yes, I'm actually making it to a convention. Gasp.) So yeah, I'm just going to call July 26-30 as hiatus. I'll try to get to backtags during that time, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be exhausted.

Again, for that, just assume that Ryner is with Sion and Kurow... well, Kurow will actually be in Cianwood at that point probably, but.

Well, it's time for me to rip off the Band-Aid. I've been feeling stagnant in general toward RP lately, so it's time I cut out the stagnant elements. Unfortunately, that means I'm dropping Roy, and much sooner than even I had anticipated. I had tried a canon review to see if that could revitalize my muse for him here, but it didn't work, so I decided to do it now instead of squat until AC rolls around.

If your character had CR with Roy and would like to claim one of his Pokémon, just choose one from the list here. That said, Winry will be getting King and Elsie. As a warning, Elsie was Hughes's starter, so it's been microchipped and may lead Team Rocket to her -- or she can have the chip removed, but she'll have to deal with being a fugitive for two weeks. So, Nea, if you'd rather not have her have to deal with that, just let me know.

Characters who had negative CR with Roy can pick up a Pokémon or two from his roster -- just bear in mind that they'll inherit Roy's ill will toward their new trainers and will harass them any chance they get.

I'll be sticking around with Athrun and Shirou.
