The ATP ad going up this week!

Hey, guys! We're throwing up the App This Plz ad this round, but Ara and I decided to play with things a little. Because the event is on the 11th, the week we're not doing apps, we've decided to allow those who are recruited through ATP to get their applications in by February 8th at 11:59pm EST, so we can process them on the 9th and get this event started on the 11th as planned. All they have to do is link in their application the comment where they were recruited, and it'll count!

So for anyone who's recruiting during this week's round, feel free to mention that to them if they want to make it in time to participate in the event.

If that's the case, wouldn't it be better to just add an app round for everyone? I know it may be a lot of work for you guys, but it seems a little bit... restrictive? Not sure if that's the right word here, but my point is, people aren't only recruited by ATP; they may be enabled in private or decide to app to the game on their own, so it seems kind of unfair to only let in those who were recruited via ATP specifically.

Just expressing my personal opinion! Don't feel pressured to add to your (already enormous, I imagine) pile of work.

I think I agree. It seems a little unfair to give one group priority over another, especially since people coming in from ATP would have just heard of the game, as opposed to someone who may have already reserved or was planning on apping. It sort of screws up first come first serve to give a special pass that way.
